Privacy policy

LunrLabs is an engineering studio operating from 226, Sector 45, Chandigarh 160047, India. For anything in this policy, including a request to access or delete your data, write to hello@lunrlabs.io.

Details you give us directly. When you email us, call us, or book a call, we hold your name, contact details and whatever you tell us about your project. We keep this because it is the enquiry itself.

Technical data from your visit. Our hosting provider records standard server logs, including IP address, browser and the pages requested, to serve the site and to detect abuse.

Analytics data. We use Google Analytics 4, which sets cookies and collects your approximate location to city level, device and browser details, the pages you view and how you move through them, and a randomly generated identifier for your browser. Where you are signed in to a Google account and have consented to it within Google, Google may also associate your visit here with information it already holds about you, including your location, search history and YouTube history. This is described in more detail under Cookies and analytics below.

We do not collect special category data, and we do not ask for payment card details through this site.

To answer your enquiry and to scope, quote and deliver work you ask us for.

To keep records we are required to keep, such as contracts and invoices.

To keep the site running and secure, and to understand how the site is used so we can improve it.

For advertising measurement and audiences. Our Google Analytics property has advertising features switched on, which means the audiences and key events it builds can be exported to advertising accounts we link to it. We do not sell your data, and we do not pass your enquiry details into advertising systems.

This site uses Google Analytics 4, provided by Google. It sets cookies on your device and sends your activity on this site to Google, who process it as our service provider and, for the advertising features described below, on their own account as well.

We have the following Google Analytics features switched on. Google signals, which lets Google associate your visit with the account of a signed-in Google user who has consented to that association within their Google settings, and which draws on information Google already holds, including location, search history, YouTube history and activity on sites that partner with Google. Granular location and device data, which records your city-level location and detailed device information rather than country alone. User-ID and user-provided data collection, which allow the same person to be recognised across devices and sessions. Ads personalisation, which allows audiences and key events built from this data to be exported to advertising accounts we link to the property.

Taken together, this is more than aggregate page counting: it can be used to recognise a returning visitor and to build an advertising audience. If you would rather not be included, you can install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on, block cookies for this site in your browser, or manage and delete what Google holds against your account at myactivity.google.com. Google's own handling of this data is governed by its privacy policy, not by ours.

Booking a call opens a third-party scheduling page, which is governed by that provider's own privacy policy rather than this one.

Only the people who need to: the engineers on your engagement, and the service providers that host our site, email, analytics and scheduling. Those providers act on our instructions and may process data outside your country.

Google, as our analytics provider. Analytics data is processed by Google on servers that may sit outside your country, and, because the advertising features above are enabled, may also be used by Google in accordance with its own policies.

We disclose data to anyone else only where the law requires it.

Enquiries that do not become projects are deleted within twenty-four months. Project records are kept for as long as the engagement runs, and then for the period our tax and contractual obligations require.

Analytics data is retained by Google according to the retention period set on our Analytics property, after which the event-level records associated with your browser are deleted. Aggregate reporting may persist beyond that.

You can ask us for a copy of the data we hold on you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to hello@lunrlabs.io and we will respond within thirty days.

You can also object to the analytics processing described above at any time, using the opt-out routes in the Cookies and analytics section, without needing to contact us first.

If you are in a jurisdiction with a data protection authority, you also have the right to complain to it.

If this policy changes, the effective date above changes with it. Material changes affecting an active engagement are raised with you directly.
